Ivy Liacopoulou (née Lavithi), grew up in Limassol, Cyprus, a beautiful island in the eastern Mediterranean, where her passion for cooking began as a child, helping her mother in the kitchen. She is married to a Greek and the past 30 years lives in Athens, Greece, with her husband and three children. Ivy belongs to a new generation of home cooks who loves to experiment and create new recipes of her own. Her creativeness and passion for cooking are depicted in her blog, Kopiaste.. to Greek Hospitality.
After early retirement she decided to record the traditional recipes of her country, as a heritage to her children, so she self-published her first cookbook “Mint, Cinnamon & Blossom Water, Flavours of Cyprus, Kopiaste!”.
As a reward to those purchasing the cookbook, this blog will be updated with additional recipes inspired from the cookbook.
